In this module, I expanded on the defining the problem step. Defining the problem well is important, since everything else you do will be led by it. The details here create goals and clarify what success looks like.

I shared two ways of approaching it – the 5WH approach and the Vision/Issue Statement/Method approach. You can use either, or both together. Each looks at the issue in a different way, but the results are the same.

The next module is about researching information. Once you have your problem, the next step is to learn about it.
