This module covered techniques for coming up with ideas. This is important, as it builds on the information gathered previously and leads into developing solutions. This step is a creative process, where accepting wild ideas can make a lot of difference in the end.
You practiced brainstorming names for the party. Normally, you would use techniques like this on all parts of the problem, not just one. Whether you use brainstorming, nominal group technique or something else depends on the problem, your situation and whether you are part of a group. Brainstorming works well with one person or several, which is why it’s so flexible.
The next module covers developing a solution and seeing how it works. This solution will be based on one or more of the ideas generated here.
