There’s not a lot more I can say about this. This is something that you have to do. Up until now, everything has involved a lot of reading, writing and thinking. For this, you need to create something.

Thinking back to the birthday party. In the last step, you brainstormed names for the party as well as events to include. With these ideas on hand, it’s time to put together an itinerary.

This is where you might start to notice problems. During the brainstorming step, you come up with creative ideas. Thinking through the details, though, sometimes leads to complications. Your idea, which sounded so good in your head, suddenly reveals that you only left 30 minutes for dinner in a restaurant.

Based on your brainstormed ideas, write out the schedule for your birthday party. Be sure to factor in meal breaks, travel time, chances for people to unwind and a margin for unexpected events. How realistic is your itinerary? Post it below and read other people’s.
